North Callaway High School is set to host the Veterans Day Community Pancake Breakfast Bash from 7-10 a.m. Nov. 11 at North Callaway High School.
This event is made possible through North Callaway PTO, planning to raise money through donations to help grow and maintain North Callaway Schools.
Amber Pipes, president of North Callaway PTO, said the Pancake Breakfast Bash aims to give back to the community.
"We want to serve the community that serves us through support, offering a free breakfast to anyone who wants to come," said Pipes.
With breakfast being free, donations are welcomed and encouraged at the event, however no payment is required to eat at the Breakfast Bash.
"We want the money being raised to be used to help North Callaway Schools, and we do this in numerous different ways," Pipes said.
This money is donated to North Callaway School Buildings, where the funds can be used by the school. The funds have been used for student incentives and building improvements.
"We have numerous volunteers for this event, all from the community, where the support for this event has been tremendous," said Pipes.
This is the first year North Callaway PTO has hosted the Pancake Breakfast Bash.
Pipes hopes for this to become an annual event, as the community has showed interest and support in it.
"At the event, we will be serving free breakfast, which will include eggs, pancakes, and sausage links, along with honoring all of our local veterans at the breakfast," said Pipes.
All donations enter you into a drawing to win a free deer processing, which is donated by R&R Processing.
"Our community is amazing and always shows up for our numerous fundraisers and events throughout the year, always supporting us," Pipes said.
