The Fulton Police Department arrested one individual after a foot pursuit on Friday.
At approximately 3:10 a.m., the FPD responded to a report of an assault in the 600 block of Vine Street. A subject entered a residence and struck a subject living there, a release states.
Upon arrival, officers located the suspect near 2nd Street and Nichols Street. The suspect then resisted arrest and assaulted officers who were trying to take him into custody. The suspect -- identified as Jordan Castillo, 20, of Fulton -- then fled on foot.
The FPD K9 was deployed. The Callaway County Sheriff's Office drone was also deployed.
Castillo was later located on St. Louis Avenue, where he was taken into custody without incident.
Castillo was arrested for two Audrain County warrants.
Charges relating to the earlier incident -- including felony assault and burglary -- will be forwarded to the Callaway County Prosecutor.
